In the spring of 2021, I was a student in a public relations writing class. I created a mock non-profit organization named Mentors Across America for this class. The intentions of the deliverables were to inform Millenials so they could donate and persuade Gen-Z to volunteer with the organization.
During this project, I grew in my writing skills as well as my persuasive language. The various different formats, including news releases, annual reports, and blog posts, allowed me to get real-world practice. I learned more about writing from these different platforms and improved writing consicely.
